• The contest is open to physician trainees, early career practicing physicians (first 3 years), nurses, physical therapists, and nutritionists, medical technologists  and medical students especially interns and clerks both local and foreign citizens
• There will be 3 categories and prizes shall be awarded accordingly to the top 3 places:
  1. Case Studies/ Case Report
  2. Systematic Review/ Meta analysis
  3. Descriptive
• Research Process

1. 1. The deadline of submission of entries will be on  June 30, 2024 and should contain a structured abstract (Introduction, Objectives, Methods, Results and Conclusion) limited to 300 words only.
   2. The first page shall contain the name of the primary author and co authors as well as the university, hospital, or medical center where the author is connected.
   3. Entries will be prejudged by the panel research committee members and clinical epidemiologists.
   4. Finalists shall be announced on July 26,2024 and will be required to submit full paper prior to the contest for the evaluation of board of judges
   5. Prejudging score will consists of 70% of total score and the remainder is based on actual oral presentation.

• FINALISTS are required to comply with the following guidelines:

1. The paper must be typewritten, double spaced using the Calibri font.
2. The structured abstract (Introduction, Objectives, Methods, Results and Conclusion) should be submitted, apart from the full manuscript.

There should be no mention of identity of the author and institution anywhere in the paper.

3. All finalists must send their accomplished research papers on or before July 26, 2024, 4:00pm.
4. Venue and delivery of oral research presentation shall be in Conrad Hotel on Aug 17, 2024 during the SSP ICAS collaboration  Conference
5. Further instructions regarding oral presentation shall be forwarded to the finalists to facilitate smooth flow during the actual event.
